The REACH Card is a prepaid Visa debit card. It is issued by the Bancorp Bank, a member of the FDIC. The REACH Card has partnered with celebrity Tom Joyner. This reloadble Visa card has a very simple fee structure, you pay a one-time $9.95 activation fee. You will also be responsible for a $8.95 monthly fee, and a $2.50 ATM fee.
Those are the only fees you will ever be charged with the REACH Card. We hope you don’t know from first-hand experience, but many prepaid Visa debit cards contain a never ending list of nickel and dime fees. In recent years, prepaid debit cards have become very popular. We have seen some popular card issuers charge you:
- Convenience fees
- Live customer service fees
- Paper statement fees
- And miscellaneous fees
The prepaid REACH Card prides itself in having the easiest to understand Visa prepaid card fees. In our opinion, they have the simplest fee structure of any prepaid debit card we have reviewed.

Review of the REACH Card
We do like the REACH Card, it is hands down the best prepaid card when it comes to the fees you will be responsible for. Unbelievably we have reviewed some prepaid debit cards that will charge you a fee just to speak with a live customer service representative. However, please read the fine print before you apply.
